This is quintessential Bar Scott: re-recorded versions of her beloved songs "Heaven" and "More," plus Jesse Winchester's lovely "I Wave Bye Bye." If you're looking for deep vocals, these are them. Recorded for film in 2015.
NOTES
This recording is dedicated to Abigail Thomas. "Heaven" was written and recorded by Bar in 2000 and was first released on her CD Grapes and Seeds. This version was arranged by Dave Hanson, and performed by Bar Scott (piano and voice) Rachel Handman (violin) Chelsea Hadden (violin) Emily Schaad (viola) Laurel Pistey (cello) Lou Pappas (bass).

"More" was written by Bar in 2005 for her son Forrest. It originally came out on Bar's CD, Parachute. This version was arranged by Chris Ranney, and was performed by Bar Scott (voice) Chris Ranney (piano) and string players as listed above.

"I Wave Bye Bye" was written by Jesse Winchester. Bar heard Allen Toussaint sing this at the 2014 New Orleans Jazz Festival a few months after Jesse's death. Bar was so taken with it that she wanted to sing it herself. This version stemmed from an a cappella version Bar sent to Chris Ranney, who then performed all the parts you hear recorded.
